(More customer reviews)These are the best knives that I have ever had.Sure they will get dark spots over time, but if you wash and dry them thoroughly after you use them, they will stay sharp and rust free.The dark spots is the carbon working out to the surface, and is common on all high carbon blades.I also will spray some cooking spray on a paper towel and coat them lightly a couple times a year.
The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is the price.I guess that comes with the Kitchen aid name.
